Aluminum Pipes

The CGL Aluminium option incorporates extruded aluminium tubes to 6063-T6.

The standard pipes are bought in and the downpipes are then manufactured on CGL premises.

The pipes can be supplied as mill finish or we can have them painted in a standard PPC RAL colour dependant on project requirements.

The Pipes have a push fit configuration with the use of sikaflex as a secondary sealant at each join.

Pipe Details

Pipes are supplied in 3 diameters which are 76.2mm, 88.9mm & 101.6mm o/dia for round pipes and 76.2mm x 76.2mm and 100mm x 100mm for square pipes. Therefore providing 5 different options to suit your buildings requirements and provide the external aesthetic appearance you are looking for.

Pipe lengths are supplied in either 5m or 2.5m lengths with collars pre-fitted

To minimise waste we have incorporated the use of double connectors which allows you to cut your pipes to the desired lengths and re-use the pipe section that is left utilising these double connectors.

When pricing we will incorporate the required number of units and double connectors

We supply 45 and 90 degree bends as standard for use at the top and bottom of your pipes where required

During our design of each set of downpipes we will calculate the required number of pipe clip sets.

CGL Recommend the use of Flex-Seal Adaptor Couplings for connecting drainage pipes of differing materials and outside diameters together.
